Site work for a water / sewer project in Somers Point, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work shall be completed within forty-five (45) days of the Notice to Proceed or subject to liquidated damages of $500.00 per day No bid will be received unless in writing on the forms furnished, and unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, provided that the said security need not be more than $20,000 nor less than $500.00 and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above.The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities in bids received. The work consists of the removal of approximately 325 linear feet of eight inch (8”) VCP gravity main, laterals and terminal manhole to be replaced with new PVC sanitary main, new sanitary manhole and reconstruction of ten (10) sanitary laterals with cleanout riser. The project includes, where required, replacement of existing concrete sidewalk / curb and temporary roadway restoration. The work is located within the City of Somers Point on Stanford Road.
