Please note, vendors must remain for the mandatory site visit in its entirety in order to ask questions regarding the specifications of this project. Leaving the site visit early will cause you to be ineligible to submit a quote. ANY VENDOR QUESTIONS NOT ASKED AT THE SITE VISIT MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS OF THE SITE VISIT (April 14, 2022). QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL WHO ATTENDED THE SITE VISIT by April 20, 2022. The Metro DDSOO Maintenance point of contact for this project is Dmytro Shuba (718) 430-0706 or (347) 628-9467. CR Number: 2084710 The Metro DDS00 will make no concessions to the Contractor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The Metro DDSOO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding upon the contractor. The Metro DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Metro DDS00 reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to or not to submit a quote, please be aware that the winning bidder must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded contractor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and Signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. NOTE: NYS Labor law requires that all contract employees performing maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in State owned buildings are entitled to receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which s/he is working. We reserve the right to review payrolls and/or inspect job sites. It is the responsibility of the contractor to keep sufficient records to demonstrate that prevailing wages are being paid to all individuals and submits to the contracting agency a transcript of the original payroll records within 30 days after issuance of its first payroll. We reserve the right to review payrolls and/or inspect job sites. A New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Request is submitted on behalf of OPWDD as the contracting agency. This project will be assigned an Original Wage Schedule with an assigned Prevailing Rate Case number (PRC#). Selected vendor must comply with all prevailing wage regulations distributed by the NYSDOL Bureau of Public Work. Under New York State Labor Law, contractors and subcontractors must pay the prevailing rate of wage and supplements (fringe benefits) to all workers under a public work contract. Employers must pay the prevailing wage rate set for the locality where the work is performed. Prevailing wage is the pay rate set by law for work on public work projects. This applies to all laborers, workers or mechanics employed under a public work contract - OPWDD reserves the right to reject any quote and all quotes. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 7% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6%
