Prequalification of Bidders is a requirement for this project and, as such, only bids from prequalified General Contractors will be accepted. The prequalification process was advertised previously and has already concluded. However, this project has received funding from the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program, and therefore, additional time will be given to Disadvantage Businesses Enterprises (DBE) only that are wishing to pre qualify as a General Contractor (DBE subcontractors do not require prequalification). DBEs wishing to apply for prequalification as a General Contractor shall contact Municipal Consultants, Inc. directly by phone at 205-822-0387 or via email at mcibham@municipalconsultants.org to obtain a valid Prequalification Application. The DBE applicant must submit their completed, signed, and notarized Prequalification Application to Municipal Consultants, Inc. by March 22, 2022. If the pre-qualification application cannot/could not be submitted by this deadline, the DBE may request an exception (in writing) by immediately contacting Municipal Consultants, Inc. directly. A list of the prequalified bidders may be obtained from the office of Municipal Consultants, Inc No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this Project. This project is governed by the applicable bid laws and practices of the State of Alabama The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.
