Site work for a road / highway in Thorold, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The goal is to replace the Tuliptree Sound Barrier as the life expectancy of the noise barrier is ending. The sound barrier is located in the City of Thorold West Community subdivision. City Staff require the replacement of various sound barrier sections located in the corridor between Highway 406 and Tuliptree Road rear yards (See Attachment 1 and 2). The replacement requires the contractor to conform to Ministry Standards. The sound barrier should be of continuous construction, 2.5m height with no gaps and should have a minimum surface density of 20kg/m2 (See Attachment 3).
