Site work for a water / sewer project in Hitchcock, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sanitary sewer line, manhole, pavement repair and complete associated appurtenances. Major items of work include : (1) Pipe Bursting 16, 12, 10 and 8 Sanitary Sewer Line (2) Sanitary Sewer Line Televising (3) Point Repairs (4) Sanitary Sewer Manholes (5) Sanitary Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to City of Hitchcock or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the General Land Office (GLO) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the City of Hitchcock Section 3 Policy is required for contracts and subcontracts in excess of $100,000.00.
