The City of Dahlonega is requesting sealed bids for the purchase and installation of turnkey restrooms for the Reservoir in Dahlonega, GA.Questions regarding Project #2022-004 will be accepted in writing only, to the City of Dahlonega Purchasing Agent, Brittany Lee at blee@dahlonega.gov or faxed to 706-864-4837 before 12:00PM, EST, on April 20th, 2022. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. The manufacturer must be ISO Certified with 20 years of structural work. The building must have weld plates with no mechanical joints. The roof and floor must be a minimum of 5 inches thick 8000 psi concrete. Walls must be a minimum of 4 inches thick 8000 psi concrete. Building must be turnkey. Final utility hook ups are the responsibility of the contractor. The manufacturer must provide a stamped engineering drawing. The manufacturer must show four examples of precast concrete flush facilities to included installation. Manufacturer must supply at least a 10-year structural warranty with a 1-year full warranty. The building must have colored concrete for the toilet building roof panels, building walls, screen panels. The same brand and color additives are used throughout the manufacturing process. The color must be mixed in with the concrete and not cast. All ingredients are weighed and mixed to insure uniform color throughout the project. Welded wire fabric must be new, free of dirt, oil, paint, or grease. All reinforcements must be centered in the cross sections of the walls. All interior and exterior joints are to be caulked with paintable sealant. Grout must be non-shrink and painted to match the color of the surrounding concrete. Exterior should be coated in non-graffiti application. Interior must have ADA stainless steel grab bars that withstands 300 lbs. of top loading. Toilet paper dispensers must be stainless, three-roll type. Dispensers must be able to withstand 300 lbs. of top loading. A touchless hand dryer with HEPA filter must be provided in each restroom. The doors must be 16-gauge galvanized, top painted and 1 3/4 inch thick. The door frames must be 16-gauge steel frames, top painted. The doors will have Trilogy programmable door lock system with Norton 7500 series door closures. The window frames must have all steel construction. There needs to be one exhaust fan per restroom. Signs need to be raised pictograms, letters, and braille to meet the most recent ADA standards. Mirrors shall be 18 inchX36 inch stainless steel with #8 bright polish. Plumbing fixtures must all meet ANSI standards. All plumbing will be concealed in the service area. All brass flush valves must be 1.6 gallons per flush. Sinks and toilets must be stainless steel and meet ADA standards. Plumbing must have hammer arrestor and a hose bib in chase closet. Pipes shall be copper tubing type L. All waterlines will be of a size to accommodate proper flush pressure for 40 psi. Laboratory water valve should be self-closing with push-button start. Building must be plumbed for provided water fountain. All electrical components will be UL listed. Breaker panel must be 100 amp. All interior lighting must be LED lighting with occupancy sensor and vandal resistant. All exterior lighting must have built in photocell switch and be LED and vandal resistant. The City of Dahlonega personnel will be supervising installation of this project.
