Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Melville, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrade located in the NE 1/4 and SE 1/4 of 4-23-6 W2M adjacent to the existing lagoon. The work involves: Construction of four new clay-lined storage cells with approximately 240,000 m3 total capacity over approximately 18 ha; Installation of a fine bubble aeration system in an existing lagoon cell; Installation of a floating baffle curtain in an existing lagoon cell; Conversion of an existing borrow pit to a clay-lined septage receiving lagoon cell; Construction of an aerated moving bed bioreactor (MBBR) including upstream flow control chambers; Construction of a pump station for effluent recirculation; Construction of a force main for effluent recirculation; Construction of gravity sewer lines for conveyance of treated wastewater and MBBR effluent; Construction of two buildings to house blowers, electrical and controls equipment; Installation of a septage hauler access system including a card reader and automated entrance gate; Installation of security cameras; Fencing and landscaping; Ancillary works.
