Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Conquest, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This competition is for a bored well for the Rural Municipality of Fertile Valley No. 285 at the existing Ardath Well Site. The Ardath Well is a non-potable well source at East/West Road Allowance along NE 35-30-09 W3M, northeast of the Village of Conquest, Saskatchewan. The current well is an excavated 30" fiberglass casing. Water from the underground source has served the municipality for many decades and continues to this date. Due to increased demand at the site, a more reliable source is desired. The Rural Municipality of Fertile Valley No. 285 is accepting tenders from a driller registered with the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency to construct a new water source at the East/West Road Allowance along NE 35-30-09 W3M, and utilize the existing truck fill station on site. A bored well is preferred for access to the ground water source. A Permit to Conduct Ground Water Investigation has been received by the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency. A hydrogeological consultant will be required to oversee the investigation for drilling, installing and licensing a new groundwater source well. Therefore, a quote for hydrogeological services with a firm of the driller's choice should be included with the tender.
