Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Platteville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project consists of the general construction of an inclusive playground located in Smith Park, the construction of a parking lot in Legion Field, and the construction of a new sidewalk along the east side of Second Street from Sylvia Street to the north City limits. Additional Conditions: The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15, 66.0901, and 66.0903(1m) of the Wisconsin Statutes. This project is funded in part by a Community Development Block Grant for Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) from the Wisconsin Department of Administration using federal CDBG funds. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Buyer nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Wage Rates: Minimum salaries and fringes to be paid on the Project shall be in accordance with the prevailing wage rate determination established by the Federal Department of Labor (DOL). Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. Attention is also called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and fringes set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this Project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applications for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other protected class. Federal Labor Standards program laws, including, but not limited to, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act will apply to this Project. The City of Platteville encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE's), Women's Business Enterprises (WBE's), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's), and Small Businesses in Rural Areas (SBRA's) to submit bids.
