Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Monessen, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project consists of demolishing one (1) commercial structure that is actively crumbling and in danger of collapsing onto the adjacent roadways. The work will consist of, but not be limited to completely removing entire building, asbestos removal, backfilling the foundations, clearing all debris, removing any trees present, placing topsoil, seeding and grading the sites to match adjacent contours.A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Monessen, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of bid for construction shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Monessen reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. All questions must be submitted no later than March 21st, 2022. No questions will be responded to after this date. Approx. construction cost - $160,000 - $190,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
