A FS organized pre-proposal site visit will NOT be held. The project locations are open to the public and can be viewed by each prospective offeror. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. SCOPE OF CONTRACT This project includes fabrication and installation of 16 gates (4 different styles depending on location) for the Eldorado National Forest along the boundary of the Caldor Fire Closure. The Contractor shall be responsible for the off-site fabrication of the gates per the drawings and specifications. The Contractor shall install the gates at the 16 locations along the edge of the closure area. All locations are accessible by vehicle and located on or near Class 3 or better FS roads. The Contractor should refer to the SCHEDULE OF ITEMS and project plans and specifications when making estimates of quantities or work. PROJECT LOCATON This project is located at 16 different locations along the boundary of the Caldor Fire which is generally defined as Mormon Emigrant Trail east to HWY 88, SW along HWY 88 to Omo Ranch Road, north to Mormon Emigrant through Grizzly Flats. A Google Map, kmz file and list of locations in lat/long is provided. Maps included in Section J are general in nature and are not to be considered as definitively identifying locations. Section J of this contract contains Supplemental and Special Project Specifications that supplement and/or modify the Standard Specifications. The Standard, Supplemental, and Special Project Specifications shall all be used in conjunction with each other to properly determine the correct specification for each Pay Item in the Schedule of Items. PACKING AND MARKING All shipments of materials, equipment and/or supplies shall be addressed to the Contractor and not to the Government. The Government issued contract number is to be referenced on all official communication starting upon notice of award.
