Bowling Green Municipal Utilities request proposals for line clearing services for the electrical transmission, distribution and secondary circuits throughout the City of Bowling Green. Full specifications of the contractual agreement are enclosed. Successful companies will be required to enter into one of the attached agreements and abide by agreement terms and conditions set forth in the agreement. BGMU will be awarding multiple contracts. 1. Contract 1 - Primary contract - one contractor a. Services shall consist of two (2) year round crews each con sisting of one (1) bucket crew and one (1) backyard bucket crew. b.One additional backyard/bucket crew shall be utilized from April to October during high growth periods. The starting date for work under the contract would be July 1, 2022. The one-year contract shall be eligible for four (4) one-year renewals. Each renewal shall be based on the National Consumer Price Index for the preceding four quarters and shall be agreed upon 90 days prior to the expiration of the existing contract. The actual response should be placed in a separate sealed envelope inside this outer sealed envelope. Box 10300 01 Center Street Bowling Green, KY 42101 The contractor must have at least 5 years'experience trimming around high voltage lines and provide a list of customers/contacts to verify the experience so as to assure BGMU customers of continual service with minimal interruption and to assure "safety first" in all trimming and tree cutting practices. Verify for all crews the names and experience of foreman and climbers. General Foreman must have five (5) years' experience. Foreman must have at least three (3) years experience working around high voltage lines. Bowling Green Municipal Utilities reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the lowest proposal or lowest evaluated proposal. All responses shall be evaluated on the following criteria: Cost, Qualifications/Experience, and Past Record with BGMU, References, Timelines, Compliance with Specifications, Quality of Materials, Financial Stability, and Compliance with Law.
