Site work for a water / sewer project in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This work will include the replacement of 800 meters of sewer main and services, complete with asphalt and concrete reinstatement, and landscaping.Every Tender received shall be accompanied by a certified cheque, bank draft or bid bond payable to the City of Summerside in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Estimated Contract Price. If a bid bond is issued it must be accompanied by a letter of surety from a recognized Canadian Society Company outlining that a Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the Estimated Contract Price and a Labour and Materials Bond in the amount of 50% of the Estimated Contract Price will be presented if awarded the project. The City reserves the right to adjust the schedule of work so as not to conflict with special events taking place within the City. The City reserves the right to limit/ or increase the project scope of work or remove / add entire project sections due to project costs and budget constraints.The City reserves the right to remove or replace sections of the project, with other approved areas, due to other capital work or new development in the listed project areas or entirely due to budget constraints.
