The project will consist of CIPP lining of approximately 6,700 LF of 8" and 10" diameter sanitary sewer main within the City of Plainfield. Bids will be considered by the City Council at its regular meeting at 6:00 P.M. on April 12, 2022 at City Hall, 604 Main Street, Plainfield, Iowa. The City of Plainfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.The bidder's security shall be in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount including all add alternates and shall be the Jurisdiction's bidder's bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Jurisdiction. No other type of bid security will be accepted.The successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance, payment, and maintenance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Contractor shall fully complete by December 30, 2022. 2. Liquidated Damages in the amount of $600.00 per Calendar Day will be assessed for each Calendar Day that any work shall remain uncompleted beyond the specified completion date.
