Site work for a water / sewer project in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Bidder shall provide all labor, equipment, and some materials necessary to install a total of 19 water service taps, consisting of 8 long services and 11 short services, at the locations indicated in Exhibit 2. This work will include installation of stainless-steel saddles, 3/4 " corporation stops, 3/4 " meter setters, standard boxes, and 3/4 " CTS equivalent polyethylene pipe. ONWASA will provide the stainless-steel saddles, 3/4 " corporation stops, and the 3/4 " meter setters. Restoration of any asphalt, concrete curb/gutter/sidewalk, road shoulder, and landscaping (including resodding) at each site shall also be completed. Work shall be performed in accordance with ONWASA's Manual of Standards, Specifications and Details (MSSD) and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Structures Sections 1500, 1510, and 1515; except as modified herein. The contractor will be responsible for all NCDOT encroachments, traffic control, and scheduling any water outages with ONWASA. NC Certified HUB Contractors are encouraged to submit bids for all bidding opportunities at ONWASA. ONWASA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids if it is deemed best for the public good, and to waive any informality in the bids received.
