The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, announces the release of Solicitation Number FA480922B0001 issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This IFB is set-aside for firms registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a certified 8(a) or 8(a) Joint Venture Small Businesses. This electronic announcement constitutes a solicitation notice. Description of Work: This contract is for a broad range of maintenance, repair, alteration, and minor construction projects to real property in support of Base Civil Engineer activities at SJAFB, Dare County Bombing Range, and Fort Fisher Military Recreation Area in North Carolina. This IDIQ contract and shall encompass a wide variety of individual construction tasks in a variety of trades such as concrete, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, interior and exterior electrical, roofing, pavement repair, excavation, welding, painting, site development and landscaping, asbestos abatement and removal, lead abatement and removal/encapsulation, and demolition. Place of Performance: Seymour Johnson AFB, Fort Fisher Recreation Area, and Dare County Bomb Range in North Carolina. Dates: - Site Visit: 30 August 2022 at 1:30 p.m. EDT - Bid Opening: 2 November 2022 at 2:00 p.m. EDT Completing Contract Performance: The IDIQ base year will be for a period of twelve (12) months, with four (4) twelve (12)-month option periods and one (1) six (6)-month extension period. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise each option period and the extension period.
