The intent of this document is to procure for Saint John Energy the cleaning services indicated in the specifications for a contract of three years and the option to renew for an additional two years with mutual agreement. Saint John Energy shall have the option to extend this contract for up to two (2) one-year renewals, such extension to be upon the same terms, conditions, and covenants contained in this Request for Proposal, excepting rates which shall be agreed upon by Saint John Energy and bidder. Each extension will be awarded individually on a yearly basis. It is the objective of Saint John Energy to enter into a supply arrangement for these services with a supplier who is competitive from a quality and cost perspective. Saint John Energy's objective is to select a Supplier that: Is competitive from a quality and cost perspective;
Has the ability to meet the required delivery time frame;
Meets the required specifications. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
SJE anticipates using an evaluation process based on any one or more of the following Key Selection Criteria: Evaluation Criteria Table 1) Company Profile POINTS = 10 Ownership and number of years in business
Listing of personnel that will performing duties at our headquarters, including background and experience
2) Service/Qualifications POINTS = 35 Expertise and resources
Significant experience with a contract of this scope
Ability to provide services as per scope
Ability to provide carpet cleaning and floor waxing services.
Supply and use of Environmentally friendly products and sustainability practices.
Strategy to complete project work as required
Value-add services
Past performance 3) References POINTS = 15 Each Proposal should include the names, addresses, telephone numbers, contact names and email addresses for a minimum of three (3) companies as stated in the criteria for references, in the Scope of Work.
