Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

As of April 3, 2022, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. They don't have plan for rebid. They will do an inhouse instead. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by cash, a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, payable to the Town of Springdale, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price. The project generally consists of the following work: Base Bid Schedule 'A', consists of removing an existing restroom structure, installing a new precast restroom building, installing approximately 210 linear feet of sidewalk, and related work. Bid Schedule B consists of installing 4 new light poles with bases, wiring, trenching, and related work. Twenty (20) working days will be allowed to complete the work. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or subcontract resulting from this solicitation of bids. All work performed will be subject to State prevailing wage rates. Award of the construction contract is contingent upon approval by the funding agency. The Town shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
