The Great Falls Public Library is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional elevator maintenance services. It is the Library's intention to acquire the services of a qualified organization to provide elevator preventive and corrective maintenance services at one location for two traction elevators and one dumbwaiter. The submittal of a proposal shall be taken as a prima facie evidence that the proposing individual/firm has full knowledge of the scope, nature, quality, and quantity of the project to be performed and the detailed requirements and conditions under which the project is to be performed. This solicitation does not commit the Great Falls Public Library to award a contract, to pay any cost incurred with the preparation of a proposal, or to procure or contract for services or supplies. The Great Falls Public Library reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received in response to this request, to negotiate with any qualified source, or cancel in whole or part this proposal process it is in the best interest of the Library to do so. Subsequent to contract negotiations, prospective consultants may be required to submit revisions to their proposal. All proposers shall note that any contract pursuant to this solicitation is dependent upon the recommendation of the Library staff and the approval of the Great Falls Public Library Board of Trustees. Great Falls Public Library intends to award the contract for three (3) years commencing from the date of award renewable at the option of the Library for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. The contract structure for any contract in excess of $25,000 will be a City of Great Falls Non-Construction Services Agreement form (attached) with the scope of services as outlined below. Please note the Montana Prevailing Wage requirement in Section 11 of that Contract form. The contract structure for any contract of $25,000 or less will be a City of Great Falls Agreement form (attached) with the scope of services as outlined below. Bidders must examine each elevator to determine the condition of the elevator/escalator and the accuracy of the information shown for the elevator/escalator prior to submitting a bid. No adjustments to the bid price shall be allowed should the information shown be in error
