The City of Pottsville will receive sealed bids for the repair of the roof of the City Garage located at 425 East Railroad Street, Pottsville, PA. PLEASE NOTE: Bidders shall submit one (1) copy of the Bid Form in a sealed envelope clearly marked: BIDS FOR POTTSVILLE CITY GARAGE ROOF REPAIR In the email, please include in the email all necessary contact information (company name, address, contact person, email, and phone number). The City of Pottsville is an Equal Opportunity Organization, minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. Apply rust remover and cleaner solution power wash entire roof surface Prime entire roof surface with rust-exhibiting primer Create a ply along all end lap and side lap seams and roof penetrations using spunflex (or equivalent) II fabric embedded in two coats of benchmark (or equivalent) basecoat. Apply caulk over each fastener head Apply a final bright white puma XL (or equivalent) topcoat over the entire roof surface Replace existing skylight panels with new metal panels and coat with the rest of roof Fill in insulation under existing skylight panels Coat under-side and face of rake trim on gable ends o A pull test needs to be taken prior to start of project o Bid price must be valid for thirty days (30)
