The City of Kingsland, Georgia is soliciting sealed Qualifications from interested firms and individuals to provide Manufactured Housing Unit (MHU) Replacement Services for a Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program. The City of Kingsland and certain unincorporated areas in the 31548 Zip Code have been identified as one of the three most impacted zip codes. As such the City of Kingsland is providing a Homeowner Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Program to assist persons affected by Hurricane Irma. The City will receive sealed Qualifications from Proposers having specific experience and qualifications in the area identified in this solicitation. For consideration, Qualifications for this project must contain evidence of the Proposer's experience and abilities in the specified area and other disciplines directly related to the proposed service. This project is covered under Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 which requires that any new hiring opportunities first be directed to low-and very low-income persons in this community.
