Renovation of a library in Big Spring, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

Bids must be sealed and identified on the exterior of the envelope as "Library Restoration" and received at the office of the County Auditor by March 28, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. The subject bids will be considered in the Howard County Commissioner's Courtroom, 3rd floor of the Howard County Courthouse, Big Spring, TX. The Howard County Commissioner's Court reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed to serve the best interest of the County. -Clean exterior travertine and EIFS buildings -Apply new elastomeric coating to EIFS building -Replace all travertine sealants -Replace all EIFS sealants -Replace sealants around window, door, and louver perimeters -Wet glaze all windows -Repair cracks in travertine -Remove, salvage, and palletize marble pieces at East and North elevations at planter areas -Remove brick backup wall, dirt, and landscaping at planter areas on North and East elevations -Install concrete from existing sidewalk to building perimeter where planters are removed -Reinstall marble pieces to base of building -Patch loose or deteriorated concrete at base of building as necessary (50 SF) -Remove and reattach travertine pieces (2 EA) -Patch spalls or deterioration in EIFS -Repair cracks in EIFS -Repair plaster at top of columns on East elevation (4 EA)
