Site work for a multi-residential development in Lomita, California. Completed plans call for site work for a multi-residential development.

Harbor Hills Family Public Housing Development Irrigation System upgrade Project located at 26607 South Western Avenue, Lomita, CA 90717. Bids must include all completed forms contained in Appendix B - Required Forms. Failure to complete these forms may result in a determination that the bidder is non-responsive and/or non-responsible. Bidders shall guarantee their bid for a minimum of 240 days. The scope of work for this project includes: the removal of existing irrigation landscaping pipe, including but not limited to existing booster pumps, controllers, master and remote-control valves, flow sensors, valves boxes, and thrust blocks. In addition to the above paragraph, the work covered by this Contract shall include but not be limited to: 1. All work involved in the distribution, laying, and installation of landscaping irrigation pipe, the installation of low voltage automatic irrigation and lawn sprinkler system, including but not limited to the installation of automatic controllers, valves, flow sensors, master control panels, display boards, and conductors including all components. 2. Installation of valve boxes, thrust blocks, both precast and poured in place. 3. Start-up testing, flushing, purging, water balancing, placing into operation all piping equipment, fixtures, and appurtenances. 4. All plant establishment work performed under the 90-Day maintenance period. This is a HUD Section 3 Contract and all Bidders must meet or commit to achieving Section 3 established requirements, including benchmarks for Section 3 workers and Targeted Section 3 workers to be considered a Section 3 responsive bidder and eligible for a contract award. In submitting a bid, each Bidder thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard contract, a sample of which is attached to the IFB package for reference. The LACDA shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any Bidder who refuses to execute said standard LACDA contract. The LACDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This IFB is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent's bid. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this IFB. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the Bids.
