The Project consists of constructing +-6,350 feet of 24-inch sewer main, +-725 feet of 18-inch sewer main, and +-150 feet of 12-inch sewer main; rehabilitating with CIPP lining +-480 feet of both 18-inch and 12 inch pipe; +-450 feet of sewer laterals; 22 new manholes; creek crossing; 48-inch storm drain replacement; access road construction; and fencing and gate installation. Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate is $5,500,000 to $6,000,000. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids will be on a lump-sum/unit-price basis. All bids shall be evaluated on the basis of the Base Bid amount. No Bid will be accepted from a Contractor who does not hold a Class A license in accordance with the provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code. This project is funded in part by the State Revolving Fund (SRF), and as such a labor compliance program (LCP) in accordance with California Labor Compliance Code Section 1771.8 must be adopted and enforced. The contents of this document do not necessarily reflect the views and policies of the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), nor does mention of trade names or commercial products constitute endorsement or recommendation for use. Bidders are notified that financing for this project is provided pursuant to SRF Program and the Division of Financial Assistance, and that as allowed in Public Contract Code Section 22300, this Contract does provide for substitution of securities for any monies withheld by the Owner to ensure performance under this contract. Bidders are further notified that this Contract does permit retainage to be placed in escrow and/or to be invested for the benefit of the Contractor. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all Bids and to make that award which is in the best interest of the Owner. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
