The purpose of this solicitation is to select a vendor to perform additional modifications (Phase 2) to A1A Ponte Vedra WP Operations Building located at 200 A1A, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. The existing operations building is being remodeled for increased operational efficiency and the need to bring the facility up to current JEA standards. The plant is located behind the Gate Station at 200 A1A in Ponte Vedra. Phase 2 focuses on the bathroom/shower area and discovery has led to the decision to remove the "non-load bearing walls" and open up the space. Modifications will be made to ADA compliance standards and a new drinking fountain installed. Flooring, windows, and fixtures will be replaced as noted in the specification. The area of the building currently designated for storage will also have ceiling repairs done. Work area functions have been temporarily relocated outside the building to accommodate construction. Once Phase 2 has been completed staff will be relocated back into new design space. Currently the staff is operating in a temporary trailer located adjacent to the building. All questions must be submitted in writing or electronically on the eForum to the JEA Buyer listed below at least three (3) business days prior to the opening date. Questions received within three (3) business days prior to the opening date will not be answered. Bidder Questions may be submitted via the Zycus Chat function in the associated bid under eForum or by emailing the purchasing agent listed below. Responses shall be issued by addendum and attached to the online procurement on the Zycus platform. Bids are due by the time and on the date listed above. Late Bid Responses may not be accepted. Bidders are strongly encouraged to acquire log in credentials early as possible. Additionally Bidders are encouraged to submit bids early to ensure uploading process goes smoothly. JEA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, and/or to waive informalities if such action is in its best interest.
