The Forest Preserve District of Kane County Commission is seeking an experienced asphalt contractor for services to furnish all materials and perform all labor at the Hughes Creek Golf Course Maintenance Building Parking Lot, Elburn, Illinois. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids. This contract calls for the construction of a public work within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, which requires contractors to pay laborers performing services on public works projects no less than the prevailing rate of wages; the Department of Labor publishes and revises prevailing wage rates on its website and, the contactor must check the website and comply with the Acts wage requirements.
