GCLBA invites the submission of proposals from contractors who are capable, qualified and experienced to conduct the abatement, demolition and disposal of residential structures located in Genesee County. The GCLBA reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid, to reject any or all bids, omit bid items, negotiate any part of the bid, or accept any bid that is considered most favorable to GCLBA. All inquiries relating to this IFB should be directed in writing to Faith Finholm, Grants Manager [ffinholm@thelandbank.org], at Genesee County Land Bank, 452 S. Saginaw Street, 2nd Floor, Flint, Michigan 48502 or via the appropriate indicated email. Bidders must provide a letter from the bonding company they intend to use stating bonding capacity and surety rating. Bidders must have the ability to secure a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) of their bid amount and a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, if awarded, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount. Questions Due No later than Thursday, March 24, 2022 by 3:00 pm Start Work On or around Monday, April 18, 2022 Final-grade, seed and straw work completed and paperwork due On or before Friday, May 27, 2022
