The bids will be considered by the Blue Earth County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, for furnishing and applying the following quantities of traffic paint to be used for striping on Blue Earth County Roads. ESTIMATED SEASONAL REQUIREMENTS 5,500 Gallons of Yellow acrylic latex Traffic Paint 9,000 Gallons of White acrylic latex Traffic Paint 116,000 Pounds of Glass Beads for Reflectorizing Traffic Paint Seasonal requirements will include striping on CSAH 12 between TH 83 to the South and CSAH 17 to the North. Striping for roundabouts within CSAH Right of Way shall be included in bid. (See attached striping plan for CSAH 12 "Striping Only") Only bids submitted on proposals obtained from the County Highway Engineer's office, 35 Map Drive, P.O. Box 3083, Mankato, MN 56001 will be accepted. A Certified Check or Bid Bond for not less than 5% of the amount of each proposal must accompany each bid, payable to the Blue Earth County Treasurer. The County Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the bid in the best interest of the County.
