This guarantee is given by a Financial Institution as defined in section 1 of the General Conditions. The Bid guarantee is given to the Contractor before the signing of the Contract in exchange for a guarantee of execution of the Contract and a guarantee of the obligations of the Contractor for wages, materials and services. These guarantees are in the form of a bond and the amount of each of them corresponds to 50% of the price indicated in the Contract and they are given by a Financial Institution as defined in section 1 of the General Conditions. These warranties must identify the Owner as the beneficiary. The Contractor then uses the forms provided in Appendices C, D and E herein. THE PUBLIC BODY has adopted a Procedure for the receipt and examination of complaints relating to a tendering process or the awarding of a contract.
