The proposed work requires the provision of fully developed blocks, within the BC Timber Sales (BCTS), Strait of Georgia Business Area, in the Eve River operating area. The work includes, forest engineering, traversing, mapping, timber cruising, site plan preparation, resource assessments, LRM data base entries and appraisal submissions. The map attached, shows the proposed area for development. All/any non-viable areas within BCTS projections will have information recorded and updated in ArcMap as per "Recce Data Management" overview BCTS document located in the Digital Data Standards. All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.StraitofGeorgiaTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 4:30 pm on April 5, 2022. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by 2:00 pm on April 6, 2022. Tender submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package. The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted Unless certain exceptions apply, all vendors must provide a Tax Verification Letter to demonstrate they meet certain tax obligations before the Province may sign, extend or renew a contract valued at equal to or above $100,000 (including all fees, expenses and all options to extend or renew). See Vendor Information: Tax Verification Letter for more information. All fieldwork must be completed by October 22, 2022. Final Site Plan by must be submitted by November 11, 2022, and all successfully final works must be completed by December 09, 2022. Failure to complete these milestones within these timeframes will result in the successful contractor having assessments imposed as itemized in, Schedule A "General Conditions". The financial assessments imposed for overdue works will be subtracted from each subsequent invoice prior to payment(s). The term of the contract will be from to be determined to March 31, 2023. The successful Contractor shall be required to have a pre-work meeting with the Ministry Representative to review the workplan and milestones prior to commencement of the work.
