Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of 2,000 lf of roadway reconstruction, new curbing and sidewalks, construction of traditional and green stormwater infrastructure, replace 2,000 lf of 8 inch water main, install 2,100 lf of 12 inch sewer pipe, replace water hydrants & gate valves, replace water & sewer services to the property lines of existing residents, restore the Cherry St. stormwater outfall and use bioengineering to stabilize a deteriorating streambank at Brickyard Brook. All bids are subject to the provisions of MGL c. 30, s 39M as amended, and MGL C 149 s 26 to s 27H inclusive as amended. Minimum wage rates must be paid as required by MGL and the provisions of the federal Davis-Bacon Act. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit no less than 5% of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to the City of Easthampton. The successful bidder shall provide to the awarding authority a 100% payment and performance bond and certificate of insurance as outlined in the bid documents.
