Saving Project...

Site work for a road / highway in Ocean Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Work shall consist of the following approximate quantities: 150 linear feet of steel sheet piling bulkhead, removal of 10 trees together with miscellaneous other related work items. They shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Mayor and Council of the Township of Ocean, bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his address and the name of the contract for which the bid is submitted. Bids must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating that it will provide the specified performance and maintenance bonds in the event that the contract is awarded to the bidder. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit as a partial satisfaction of liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon fulfillment of this requirement by the bidder. The checks of all bidders will be returned according to law. No interest shall be allowed upon any such check. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c,127., N.J.A.C. 17:27. (Affirmative Action) & P.L. 1977, C.33 (Ownership Disclosure). The Contract shall be awarded, or all bids rejected, within sixty days from the receipt of bids or within such extensions of time as permitted by law. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informality of any bid.
