The City of Phoenix invites Quotes for the purchase and installation of a Harrington new 10-Ton, or equal, overhead bridge crane in accordance with the specifications and provisions contained in this Agreement. The crane will also include two new Harrington 5-ton hoists. The crane and hoists must be electrically driven to support fore and aft movement.The crane and hoists must be a complete original equipment manufacturer assembly; combinations of mixing custom assemblies with equipment provided by other manufactures' will not be accepted. Likewise, mixing one brand of crane with another brand of overhead hoists will not be permitted. Pricing must be inclusive to the purchase price of the crane and hoists and all time/materials to install, including set-up requirements, to the point where the vendor can officially deem the hoist and crane assembly can be placed inservice. Likewise, firms providing a bid must have staff or subcontractors with the proper experience and certifications (if applicable) to install the crane and hoist assembly.The quote shall be inclusive to remove the existing 10-ton Harrington crane ES3B (electric), and 5-ton Harrington hoist TMQ1-1035, and shall also include labor and materials to remove the old power bar and install a new power bar (4 bar system) All testing (mechanical, electrical) of the overhead bridge crane and hoists prior to in-service date shall be inclusive to bid price. This included load testing and all certification testing.Any/all permitting processes shall be inclusive to the bid price submitted by contractors. All questions that arise relating to this solicitation should be directed via email to the Procurement Officer and must be received by the due date indicated in the Schedule of Events. The City will not consider questions received after the deadline. No informal contact initiated by Offerors on the proposed service will be allowed with members of City's staff from date of distribution of this solicitation until after city council awards the contract. All questions concerning or issues related to this solicitation must be presented in writing. The Procurement Officer will answer written inquiries in an addendum and publish any addendums on the Procurement Website. Material Breach: If Contractor is required to access any City facilities without an escort, City badging is required. Contractor's default under this section will include, but is not limited to, the following: o Contract Worker gains access to a City facility(s) without the proper badge or key; o Contract Worker uses a badge or key of another to gain access to a City facility; o Contract Worker commences services under this agreement without the proper badge, key or background screening; o Contract Worker or Contractor submits false information or negligently submits wrong information to the City to obtain a badge, key or applicable background screening; or o Contractor fails to collect and timely return Contract Worker's badge or key upon termination of Contract Worker's employment, reassignment of Contract Worker to another City facility or upon the expiration, cancellation or termination of this Agreement. The City reserves the right to disqualify any Offeror based on any real or apparent conflict of interest that is disclosed by the offer submitted or any other data available to the City. This disqualification is at the sole discretion of the City. Any Offeror submitting an offer herein waives any right to object now or at any future time, before any agency or body, including but not limited to, the City Council of the City of Phoenix or any court.
