Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Navasota, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
The City of Navasota is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified firms interested in providing construction services for the construction of a 75'x112' metal building, including concrete foundation with piers and associated plumbing, electrical, mechanical, clearing, grading, and dirt work for a new warehouse for the Public Works Department. Delay Damages. If the Contractor should neglect, fail, or refuse to finally complete the work within the time herein specified, or any proper extension thereof granted by the City, then the Contractor does hereby agree as part of the consideration for the awarding of this Agreement, that City may withhold permanently from the Contractor's total compensation the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for each and every calendar day that the Contractor shall be in default after the time for finally completing the work, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages for the breach of this Agreement.
