Question Deadline: Tue Apr 12, 2022 3:00 PM (PDT) This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for a tenant improvement (TI) for two (2) separate areas of Chilliwack General Hospital (CGH). Scope to include new finishes for flooring, walls, ceiling and addition of millwork, some plumbing and upgraded mechanical and electrical/lighting fixtures. The purpose of the TI is to meet CGH’s primary goal in providing a culturally safe environment to better support the needs of its indigenous patients and families and to meet a secondary goal. Primary Goal - Renovate room 1184 located in the front entrance of the Diamond Pavilion to create new Sacred Space, complete with efficient HVAC to handle smudging capabilities. Room 1184 is approx. 313 sq.ft. and currently functions as a meeting room. Ceiling of new Sacred Space has a design/lighting feature. Secondary Goal - Renovate room 1100 located on the business operations side of the B Wing to create a meeting room with improved HVAC & Lighting to support FH staff and AV needs. Room 1100 is approx. 470 sq.ft. and currently functions as a Chapel. The Chapel currently contains a large wall-mounted Stained Glass interior wall which will need to be relocated in the lobby, outside the new Sacred Space. Existing mechanical system is know to be deficient in supporting the two rooms and needs to be addressed to support the functions of both rooms.
