Construction work for a temporary parking lot at Louis-Philippe Pare school The Grandes-Seigneuries School Service Center is requesting bids for the construction of a temporary parking lot at Louis-Philippe Pare school. WORK SCHEDULE The work must be carried out between June 20, 2022 and August 26, 2022 and according to a schedule from Monday to Saturday between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. and a possibility of noiseless work on Sunday. OPTIONS The Contract does not include a renewal option. VISITING PLACES N/A SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The BIDDER must accompany his Bid with a bid guarantee equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the total price proposed in his Bid. If the Bid is transmitted electronically, the bid security must be produced in one of the following forms: a) a bond issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.14 hereof, which must comply with the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in Appendix 4.01A of the Bid Form. Submission; b) an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.14 hereof, which must comply with the requirements of the model "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" reproduced at appendix 4.01B of the Bid Form. If the Bid is transmitted on paper, the bid security must be produced in one of the following forms: a) a bond issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.14 hereof, which must comply with the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in Appendix 4.01A of the Bid Form. Submission; b) a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, made payable to the PUBLIC BODY; c) an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.14 hereof, which must comply with the requirements of the model "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" reproduced at appendix 4.01B of the Bid Form. SUBSTITUTION OR EQUIVALENCE The TENDERER must submit to the PUBLIC BODY any proposal for substitution or equivalence of materials or equipment no later than April 1, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in accordance with the procedure provided. PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE Under pain of being withdrawn from the Contract, the CONTRACTOR must, within FIFTEEN (15) days from the date of dispatch of the Notice of Award, provide the PUBLIC BODY with a guarantee of performance and a guarantee of the CONTRACTOR's obligations for pledges, materials and services, each of which must be for an amount equivalent to FIFTY PERCENT (50%) of the amount of the contract, in the form of a bond issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution hereof, which must comply with the provisions of the model performance bonds and bonds for wages, materials and services reproduced respectively in Schedules 4.01A and 4.01B hereof. CHANGES RELATED TO THE CONTEXT OF PANDEMIC - CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) By submitting its bid during the COVID-19 period, the TENDERER is aware of the government measures and the economic context in force on the day of its submission. It will therefore not be possible for him to invoke them as a case of force majeure in order to avoid his obligations. However, it is possible that additional government measures or new unforeseeable events may occur after the award of the contract and thus affect the completion deadlines. In such a case, the PUBLIC BODY and the SERVICE PROVIDER will negotiate in good faith. Considering the current Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic and despite what is provided for in the "Opening of Tenders" clause of the tender documents, the PUBLIC BODY is opening the Tenders without public, so that BIDDERS will not be able to attend in person.
