. This RFP is open to pre-qualified firms only. Proponents are invited who have been pre-qualified based on specific information previously submitted through The City's Prequalification for Engineering and Architectural Consultants RFPQ 06-006. Proposals will only be considered from proponents that have achieved a pre-qualified status in the following discipline(s): Water Management. 2. The City of Calgary is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide engineering consulting services for the update of City-wide Stormwater Loading Model. The major objectives of this assignment include, but may not be limited to, the following: Review the existing city-wide stormwater loading model and improvement requirements and propose possible improved methodology; calibrate and update the model with the updated information; evaluate climate change impacts and future scenarios; provide recommendations for future model updates; build linkage between the stormwater model and Bow River water quality model for Total Loading Management Plan (TLMP) five (5) years update. 3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. The term for the Agreement will be 5 years. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
