Site work for a water / sewer project in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace rip-rap along approximately 1,700 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline bordering the Kemper Center. The existing shoreline is eroding and threatening to adversely affect Kemper facilities. Steps must be taken to stop erosion and protect County assets. The County has received funding in prior years to pay for preliminary design and engineering related to this project. The total project is expected to take three years. The project is included in the Kenosha County - Purchasing's FY 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 27, 2023, design is complete. This project is on hold pending funding. A timeline for construction has not been established.
