Renovation of an educational facility in San Bernardino, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and transportation for the Arrowhead Village Heat Pump Replacement project, on the campus of California State University, San Bernardino. Work consists of removing and replacing one hundred forty-three (143) R-22 Heat Pump Units (*owner supplied) with associated equipment, plenum, and other ductwork necessary, serving University Village residence buildings. Work shall be completed in a timely and safe environment in accordance with the detailed specifications and special conditions. Construction period shall be eighty-nine (89) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed with a proposed work schedule of May 2, 2022 - July 29, 2022. The estimated budget for this project is limited to $450,000.00. This project is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage rate laws (see Contract General Conditions, Article 4.02-a). The Trustees require the successful proposer to achieve three percent (3%) DVBE participation in contracting construction projects as established in the Request for Proposals. Proposers shall contact the Trustees' DVBE Advocate at (909) 537-5145. Proposal packages are obtainable only by prequalified contractors, licensed in the State of California with a C-20, or C-61/D-53 license, and registered with the DIR to bid public works projects.
