In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: Project includes stabilization of stream banks, installation of riprap protection and wing walls, rehabilitation of a 4-foot x 5-foot concrete box culvert, expansion of existing detention basin with new outlet structure, installation of new storm sewers from 12-inch to 60-inch in diameter and a new concrete drop structure, abandonment of existing culverts, relocation of 8-inch water main, surface restoration, and ancillary work. This meeting has been set in order to provide all potential Bidders an opportunity to discuss with the Owner all aspects of the Contract Documents for the Pepper Luce Creek Culvert Replacement/Rehabilitation at Gates Mills Blvd project. Any changes, additions and/or deletions resulting from this pre-bid conference will be covered in an addendum to the Contract Documents. A site visit has not been scheduled for this project. Prospective bidders may visit the project site after providing NEORSD with prior notice. Prospective bidders may not enter private property that is not owned by NEORSD. Drawings, Specifications and Bid Forms and subsequent addenda will be available for download from a project specific NEORSD Sharefile site. Prospective bidders will be required to register to obtain a Sharefile account to access these documents. The NEORSD will post the link to the Sharefile site on the NEORSD's Bids website. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to frequently monitor the Bids website for project updates and addenda. The NEORSD will not be responsible or liable for project addenda that are not received by the bidder due to incorrect or out-of-date contact information. The NEORSD reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received. Bidders shall review the Instructions to Bids and all other contract documents prior to submitting a bid for this project. The Contract will be subject to the NEORSD policies and goals regarding the use of minority, women, and small business enterprises (MBE/WBE/SBE). This policy is contained in the Contract Specifications. The Engineer's Estimate for the Pepper Luce Creek Culvert Replacement/Rehabilitation at Gates Mills Blvd project is $2,193,000.00.
