Renovation of a restaurant in Goleta, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot restaurant.
Estimated cost range is $60,000 - $200,000. The contractor shall provide labor and materials for the listed scope of work to re-roof the approximate 10,000 square foot asphalt and PVC roofs at the Goleta Beach Restaurant: Apshalt Roof: Remove and haul away all existing shingle roofing and associated underlayment Supply and install a 40# base layer of felt over entire sloped wood deck At perimeter over membrane install Kynar painted drip edge metal flashing Supply and install dimensional asphalt composition shingle and associated trim Supply and install new roof related metal flashing at pipes and roof junctures Provide manufacturer's limited lifetime material, with Installers 5-year roof guarantee Thermoplastic PVC Membrane: Remove and haul away all existing low slope roofing and associated flashings Mechanically attach any required tapered cricket rigid insulation board over wood deck Over low slope areas install 1/4 " Primed Dens Deck coverboard mechanically fastened Supply and install PVC Energy Star membrane adhered roof system Complete roof system details with manufacturer's recommended components Membrane flashing at walls, curbs, and sleepers shall be fully adhered and seam welded Provide manufacturer's 20-year and installers 5-year workmanship warranties The liquidated damages will be $100 Dollars per day for project delays that are determined to be attributable to the Contractor. Pursuant to Section 1770, et. seq. of the California Labor Code, the contractor and all subcontractors shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as predetermined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages pursuant to the California Labor Code are on file at the County Department of Community Services Parks Division and are available to any interested party on request.
