Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

1. The Contractor shall remove the nine (9) concrete wheel stops so the existing asphalt can be removed then re-install once the new pavement has been placed. 2. A section of asphalt has been cut out nearthe center ofthe building. It appears the existing asphalt is +4" thick (picture attached) 3. The existing storm water inlets in the parking lot are to be protected during demolition and placement of new asphalt. 4. Only the existing yellow curb is to be painted back. 5. In reviewing the section of concrete sidewalk to be removed; a section 6' wideX13'-6" long shall be removed to avoid cutting the concrete. This area is between two cold joints. The Contractor shall remove the existing asphalt and undercut the area to receive 4" of stone base and 2" of asphalt. Single prime proposals only will be received for all construction work. The Owner encourages participation by minority businesses. Requirements for bidding this project are as follows: 1. Three references from previously satisfied commercial customers. 2. Furnish NC License Number (G.S. Chapter 87 establishes licensing requirements for general, plumbing, heating, electrical, and refrigeration contractors for construction projects costing $30,000 or more). 3. Insurance - The Contractor shall provide, as required by law, insurance for his employees. The Cumberland County Schools assumes no liability for injuries or accidents related to the Contractual Agreement. The Contractor shall furnish a certificate to the Owner (Cumberland County Schools) as a Proof of Coverage. The Contractor shall maintain and pay the Insurance Coverage, which shall not be less than the following: 4. A. Workman's Compensation Statutory Employers Liability $1,000,000 Owner/Officer must be included in coverage B. General Liability (per person/per occurrence): 1. Bodily and Personal Liability $1,000,000/$2,000,000 2. Property Damage $1,000,000/$2,000,000 Aggregate C. Automobile Liability (per person/per occurrence) 1. Bodily Injury $1,000,000 2. Property Damage: $1,000,000 Aggregate D. Builder's Risk or Installation Floater Contract Amount* 5. Recruitment of minority business participation in accordance with G.S. 143-128. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
