Site work for a water / sewer project in Royalton Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: 1 LS Mobilization, Max. $10,000; 61 LFT Bore and Jack, Steel Casing, 16-inch; 257 LFT Sanitary Sewer, PVC, 8-inch; 1 EA Wye, 8-inch x 6-inch; 15 LFT Service Lead, PVC, 6-inch; 3 EA Sanitary Manhole, 4' Diameter; 1 EA Drop Connection; 1 LS Bypass Pumping and various appurtenances. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged.
