Inviting Informal Bids for Repairs, Maintenance or Construction Services for $60,000 to $200,000, Awarded Pursuant to the "Informal Bidding" Procedures of the Public Contract Code 22000, Et Seq. (the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act ("CUPCCAA") - Informal Bid 1) Contractor to dispose of all trash 2) Contractor to coordinate access with GC on remaining part of campus Typical Exterior: 3) All furniture to be removed and disposed. 4) Remove all exterior signs. 5) Patch any holes in T1-11 and caulk any holes in metal. 6) Caulk edges of T1-11. 7) Secure any loose nails. 8) Remove and replace exterior lights. 9) Remove metal shed (south of RCOE building). 10) Replace T1-11 siding on north side of wooden shed (south of RCOE building). 11) Replace T1-11 siding on north side of RCOE building (~13 sheets). 12) Paint two handrails on north side of RCOE building. Typical Interior: 1) Remove surface mounted conduit and install wires and outlets in walls. 2) Carpet demo and replacement - by others. 1) Replace ceiling tile (OFCI). 2) Repair ceiling grid where needed and paint. 3) Replace tack panel (OFCI). 4) Remove surface mounted conduit and install wires and outlets in walls. 5) Replace interior lighting with LED (OFCI). 6) Remove wooden freestanding wall. 7) Remove IDF cabinet. 8) Remove and replace ceiling tile in restroom (OFCI). 9) Remove and replace toilet. 10) Remove and replace plexiglass in door with glass. 11) Remove and replace eight sheets of T1-11 siding. Each bid must conform and be fully responsive to all documents comprising the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be made on the Bid Form prepared by the District in the Contract Documents. Contractor and its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the Project not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to sections 1770 et seq. of the California Labor Code. The substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments in accordance with Public Contract Code Section 22300 is permitted. Each bid must include the name and location of the place of business of each subcontractor who shall perform/work of this Contract in excess of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) of the bid price. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening for bids except as provided pursuant to Public Contract Code Sections 5100 et seq. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work to Begin - 04/20/2022 Completion of Job - 06/15/2022
