To enable it to carry out this work, the City of La Malbaie is requesting tenders for the supply of materials for the aqueduct, materials for the sanitary and storm sewers. The work will be carried out internally, that is to say carried out by employees of the City of La Malbaie. The description of the materials and the quantity are described in the tender document. This call for tenders receives financial assistance under the Municipal Water Infrastructure Program (PRIMEAU) of the Government of Quebec. The tender documents describing the conditions relevant to this call for tenders can be obtained in electronic format on the SÉAO electronic tendering system (www.seao.ca ) or at 1-866-669-7326. Obtaining documents is subject to the fees charged by this organization. The City of La Malbaie incurs no liability for the fact that written notices or any documents conveyed by electronic system are incomplete or contain any error or omission whatsoever. Consequently, any tenderer must make sure, before tendering, to obtain all the documents related to this call for tenders. Unless otherwise indicated, this call for tenders is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and when applicable to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO) and to the Quebec-New Brunswick Public Procurement Liberalization Agreement (AQNB). The City of La Malbaie does not undertake to accept either the lowest tender or any of the tenders received, and it declines all responsibility with regard to one or other of the tenderers in the event of rejection of all submissions. The awarding of the call for tenders is conditional on the City of La Malbaie obtaining the approval of a loan by-law by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing of Quebec. The contract is awarded by decision of the council of the Municipality, at its sole discretion, and the City of La Malbaie cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its council. A bid guarantee of 10% of the submitted price (taxes included) must accompany the bid.
