Spencer Township is requesting quotes for grave excavation at the Spencer Cemetery. Provider must provide own $1,500,00.00 liability insurance certificate. Please supply quote on a per time basis. Provider will begin excavation only after Township Sexton has marked grave site and then will begin to excavate grave site. Provider will level or skim the settled grave upon the discretion of cemetery sexton and Provider will apply black dirt and will fix ruts he has made post excavation as best as he can. Provider will remove initial snow from the grave site during winter months. Provider and Township will renew this contact and update yearly the second Tuesday in April. Contract award determination is at the April monthly board meeting (5:30 PM on April 12, 2022). However, the board reserves the right to reject all quotes received. Quotes will not be accepted at the April board meeting. Please call 218-839-0796 (Teri Nelson, Cemetery Supervisor) with any questions.
