This Request for Tender (the "RFT") is an invitation by the City of Cambridge (the "City") to prospective bidders to submit bids for Asphalt Rehabilitation and Reconstruction as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). Work includes the pulverizing and repaving of asphalt on Edgemere Drive, Enfield Drive, Chestnut Street and Trico Drive. The Work also includes the rural road rehabilitation of Robinson Road, Middle Block Road and Speedsville Road. For the purposes of this procurement process, the 'RFT Contact' will be: Andrea Geoffrey, Procurement Coordinator geoffreya@cambridge.ca Documents are available at: https://cambridge.bonfirehub.ca/ 2.1 Conformity With Plans And Specifications The Contractor shall perform all work, and shall furnish all materials not otherwise specified and shall complete the whole of the work, in strict conformity with the plans and specifications. 2.2 Contractor's Investigations The Contractor declares that in tendering for the work, and in entering into this Contract, they have either investigated for themselves the character of the work to be done and all local conditions including the location of any utility which can be determined from the records or other information available at the offices of any person, partnership, corporation, including a municipal corporation and any board or commission thereof having jurisdiction or control over the utility, that might affect their Tender or their acceptance of the work, or that, not having so investigated, they are willing to assume and does hereby assume, all risk of conditions now existing or arising in the course of the work which might or could make the work, or any items thereof more expensive in character, or more onerous to fulfill, than was contemplated or known when the Tender was made or the Contract signed.
