Renovation of a water / sewer project in Campbellcroft, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Water Treatment Plant was built in 2005 and carries the original roofing materials. The roof is flat, and pooling of water has been occurring in numerous locations due to inadequate drain placement. Certain areas have deteriorated which has resulted in subsequent leaks. Repairing and replacing the materials in the southern lower roof portions will prevent damage and allow water to drain properly instead of pooling. The existing roof is a combination of precast hollow core and double tee concrete panels with a concrete topping, vapour barrier, insulation, and bitumen roofing membrane. This RFT is being issued as a means of securing a qualified contractor to supply and install new roofing material and drains at the Port Hope Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
