Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Kountze, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Each station may accommodate up to three or four fire apparatus. The following outlines the RFQ: 1.Scope of Work Engineering & Architectural The selected firm shall have in house engineering and architectural capability to assist the district plan and design the rural fire stations. The selected firm shall provide all assistance in selecting the site, design of civil, utilities, structural and architectural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design. Services, including but not limited to the following: o Site selection support o Initial Engineering and Design Support o Engineering and Final Design o Contract Procurement (Bid and Award) Support o Contract Management and Construction Oversight 2. Statement of Qualifications o Describe past fire station design experience and which specific parts of the Scope of Work the service provider proposes to perform. o Resumes of all employees who may be assigned to provide services if your firm is selected, identifying current employees and proposed hires; and o A statement substantiating the resources of the service provider and the ability to carry out the scope of work requested within the proposed timeline. 3. Submission Requirements o A copy of your current certificate of insurance for professional liability. o Statement of Conflicts of Interest (if any) the service provider or key employees may have regarding the design services. Note that HCESD#1 waves all formalities and may in its sole discretion determine whether a firm's submittal is acceptable to HCESD#1. It is the responsibility of the submitting entity to ensure that the proposal is received in a timely manner. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
