Site work and paving for a civil project in Freeport, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project includes widening and resurfacing of an existing county maintained roadway that extends from Highway 20 approximately 0.44 miles west to Madison Street. The proposed improvements include widening of the existing roadway, drainage improvements, pavement overlay, SP-9.5 leveling course to correct pavement cross slope, SP-12.5 asphalt pavement, signage, striping and other safety improvements. All bidders on the project are required to be FDOT pre-qualified in all areas of new road construction. The bid will be awarded at the next regularly scheduled City of Freeport City Council Meeting.
